Chinese 19th century jade belt buckle of oval shape, set with an irregular oval cabochon rock crystal, 6cm x 5cm. CONDITION REPORT: The jade mount has three tiny chips to the bottom edge and some very tiny frits. One of the circular pegs at the base has a tiny chip from the edge down the stalk slightly. The rock crystal stone is slightly too small for the jade mount, with slight gaps to the right hand side There is evidence of some shellac residue around the edge of the rock crystal. Some scratches to the surface of the rock crystal, some largeish flaws and internal cracks to the crystal and dark inclusions, appears to have a gilt/gold foil backing.

A copper two handled pot, 19th century, with brass handles stamped "17" and further struck to the side "H. Stone". Width 50 cm, height 27.5 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The pot has a very good brass solder seal mark down one side. The lower 5% of the body has an almost uniform band of small knocks and small dents throughout. There are no splits or holes visible. The handles are solidly attached to the body. There is brass solder on the left-hand and right-hand side rims of one of the underside.
