A collection of vintage gold brooches to include a 9ct gold bar brooch with a bezel set white oval opal and red stone, a 9ct gold hallmarked floral brooch, with the flower heads picked out in rubies and the leaves tipped with tiny diamond chips, combined approx 4.2g, also a yellow metal brooch in a floral-style setting, with two claw set tiny rubies and a cultured pearl, unmarked (3).
Two Victorian/Edwardian style 9ct gold brooches, one with a centred bezel set small half round white opal, flanked by two bezel set rubies, flanked by two gold balls, in fancy mount, length approx 5cm, the other with centred blue stone within a wire oval mount, flanked by two tiny seed pearls in square mounts on bar, length approx 4.5cm, combined approx 4g (2).
A 19th century gold and garnet necklace, the red stone cabochon of pear shape, within a 14ct gold ribbon mount, below a centred claw set garnet cabochon set within a floral patterned ribbon and scroll sliding mount, all suspended on a snake link necklace, the pendants are not marked, but the mounts have been discreetly tested and register as approximately 14ct gold on the Kee gold tester. CONDITION REPORT Even though the gold tester suggests that the mounts are 14ct gold, please note that the chain has not been tested and there are no marks to the chain to suggest it is gold.
A silver pendant in the form of a heart set with two rows of oval cut sapphires surrounding a central sapphire, stamped 925, on a silver chain link necklace stamped 925, approx 8g, together with a white metal pendant set with emerald cut blue stone on a flat chain link necklace (unmarked) and one other slinky yellow metal chain link bracelet (unmarked) (3).
Seven various fashion rings comprising a 9ct gold white stone solitaire (possibly cubic zirconia), size U, a gentlemen's 'Solid Gold' (possibly 9ct) signet ring, with initials 'SB', size approx T/U (af, shank cut) and five other rings including silver and gold plated examples (7). CONDITION REPORT The white stone on the first ring is not diamond. The second ring has had the shank cut, the size was taken with the ring squeezed together.
Five fashion rings comprising a 9ct ring with centred blue stone flanked by tiny seed pearl, size O, approx 1.5g, a yellow metal ring with three seed pearls and four small cut green stones, size O, approx 1.6g, a 9ct gold Victorian-style ring with square cut collet set stone, size approx H, approx 2g and two other rings, also a small polished Blue John necklace pendant (6).
An 18ct gold diamond solitaire ring, the brilliant cut diamond approx .4ct, claw set in a white gold, possibly platinum mount, on an 18ct gold shank, size P, approx 2.6g. CONDITION REPORT The mount shows some signs of wear. Tiniest of chips to the outer edge of the stone, however it still has a good sparkle.
A ladies' vintage Everite 9ct gold watch head, the silvered dial set with Arabic numerals and smaller subsidiary seconds dial, on a gold plated flexi strap, a children's silver Christening bracelet, a small silver bracelet, a beaded red stone necklace, a floral reverse painted glass oval and metal tie pin (5).
A 9ct gold ring with claw set faceted pear-shaped blue stone, possibly topaz, within a border of tiny white stones, on split shoulders, size R, approx 3.7g. CONDITION REPORT The stone is fixed with a V-shaped tip mount and held in with two claw mounts. The vendors says that the stone is a little bit loose - even though they have had the claws tightened around the stone, they would still suggest that it may need looking at before wearing.
