(x) Falkland Islands1891 Bisect Provisionals½d. on half 1d. red-brown, the famous reconstructed block of twenty from the top of the sheet, the surcharges being late examples made posthumously with the full stop applied high and in watery ink resulting in blurred impressions, part to large part original gum, Row 1/2-4, 2/2-4, 3/3-4 and 4/3-4, Row 1/2-4 and 2/2 comprising three unsevered pairs, the others cut diagonally and reinforced, Row 1/4 and 2/4 stamps showing surcharges misplaced and falling on the "cut" lines. A wonderful showpiece multiple and one of the most important items of Falkland Islands philately. S.G. 14.
