Pair of carved soapstone sealsChineseof square form, the upper sections carved with temple dogs to the top, each dog with a puzzle ball to its front and surrounded by smaller dogs, with borders of carved flowers and foliage, the lower sections carved with various men in robes, the men surrounded by flaming pearls and scaled qilins in flight, approximately 8cm wide x 8cm deep x 21cm high each (2) Each with signs of wear consistent with age and use. Each with staining to the bases as expected. With natural imperfections of the stone as expected.

A handwritten manuscript notebook of George Webb of Lowestoft, circa 1785-1805, includes memoranda, trustees, proforma licences, bonds, warrants, examinations, notes of legislation in operation relating to customs and excise, the duties of a highway surveyor, overseer, parish vestry, clerk to justices of the peace etc. Pages have been numbered in top corner in pencil for reference. Pages 1-37 covers the Turnpike from St Margaret's gate in Ipswich, via Woodbridge, Saxmundham, Darsham, Bulcamp, Pakefield, Lowestoft, Gunton, to the Turnpike Road in South Town or Little Yarmouth in Suffolk and a road branching off from it to Beech Lane in the parish of Darsham leading through Halesworth by Stone Street to Bungay. It lists the names of the trustees, qualifications for a trustee, information on holding meetings at the Three Ton's at Yoxford from 25 May 1785. A French glass scent bottle, shaped with 18ct gold cover, with the original stopper; a Victorian silver gilt scent bottle and stopper London hallmark dated 1884, mm George Heath, with the original stopper 5.5 cms housed in the original leather box; a stone scent bottle with silver gilt cover, with the original stopper and a cranberry glass example with silver cover (no stopper). Condition ReportThe gold cover is dented in several places but the hinge is intact and functional.

This beautiful handmade necklace features, pink rose quartz, purple amethyst, turquoise, and red stone beads. The sterling silver heart pendant has a turquoise bead with gemstone cabochons and measures approximately 2"L x 1"W. The necklace is marked sterling silver with the artist's initials on a tag next to the bar and loop clasp. Dimensions: 29.75"LCondition: Age related wear.
Scottish Dirk by W. Newlands, fullered saw back 12 inch blade, with leather scabbard fitted with matching knife and fork, basketwork studded carved grip, silver plated mounts embossed with thistles, the pommels set with cairngorm stones. Buyer must be over the age of 18. Age verification ID will be required. 48cm long The dirk is in good general condition but shows some signs of age and wear. The stones all appear to be the same colour, there is some scratches and marks but no chips or cracks. The stone at the top is loose and will pull off the grip with ease. The mounts show some signs of wear from being polished. Some of the brass studs are missing. The leather has some scratches and wear but is generally good. There does not appear to be any provision for sprung clips on the bi-fork and knife but they do slide in and out a bit too easily. The blade has some dark marks but does not appear to be heavily pitted.
