A large collection of Aborigine stone implements from Woomera, collected by H. R. Balfour; including scrapers, pirris, crescents, tuhlas, knives. Many are loose with the location of find, including Fred`s Swamp, Roxby Downs, Shell Lagoon, Andambooka, and Philips Pond. Other are in sealed envelopes. With two pamphlets regarding Aboriginal Art and Words, a photograph by Balfour of Billabong Creek, with four figures in the foreground, four Christmas cards by Balfour, each with a photograph of Aborigines or artefacts. Harry Rainy Balfour (1875 - 1962) Australian anthropologist and photographer, worked mainly in the Kimberley and Northern Territory. He donated collections to the British Museum and Melborne Museum.
