Crudely later additional wire links added to one side of bolt ring fastening. Clasp possibly a later replacement. Line of doublet clearly visible when viewed from the side

An Art Deco style certified 9 carat yellow sapphire, the central mixed cut sapphire with apricot hue (weight certified as 9.06 carats) within a white metal claw set mount with keystone cut diamond set shoulders, leading to plain polished shank stamped 'Plat' ring size I 1/2, 7.2gms, with 'The Gem and Pearl Laboratory' certificate stating the colour of the sapphire to be a natural orangish yellow sapphire of Sri Lankan origin with no evidence of heat treatment being observed, carat weight 9.06 carats (11.1 x 9.0 x 8.3mm) Condition report:  Minor nibble to the girdle of the sapphire. Inclusions seen within the stone, including graphite inclusion within halo, stress cracks (not surface reaching) two phase inclusions.Claws in good condition.Possible repair to under bezel and shoulder. No thinning or splits to shank.

The foil appears to be at fault to the reverse of all stones. The reverse of the stones show no major dents. Links between each stones are worn and thin, commensurate with age and wear. Evidence of possible repairs to jump rings.Most stones predominately have black dots to base of stone. A few stones appear to be of a different brightness, potentially later replacements. Reverse of clasp with minor scratches and scuffs commensurate of age and use.

Currently ticking. All diamonds present to hinge cover. Hinge cover is a little loose. A few claws to green stone within hinge cover are missing/low. Fibres/blemishes appear to be trapped between dial and glass. Minor scratches/blemishes seen to glass face and dial. Minor scratches seen throughout watch commensurate with age and use. Clasp in good working order with good 'snap'22gms in total (including movement)

A French Palais Royale enamel casket, possibly by Tahan A Paris, 19th century, of rectangular form, decorated with stylised floral and foliate sprays embellished with white and turquoise coloured stones against a cobalt blue ground, gilt highlights throughout, buttoned silk lined interior, on gilt scroll legs, 7cm high (at fault) CONDITION REPORT:The casket is missing a white stone to the front panel and one of the side panels.  The cobalt blue of the cover shows a slight speckling.  The gilt highlights show rubbing throughout.  The silk lining of the exterior base is worn and frayed.  The silk lining of the interior is worn and frayed in places.
