A single stone light blue spinel ring, the round cut spinel claw set above a collet to pierced tapered shoulders and a plain shank of unmarked yellow precious metal, ring size U The stone has not been tested in a laboratory to ascertain whether the spinel is of natural or synthetic origin The spinel has faint loupe-visible inclusions, one a straight line implying a natural origin; the culet has a chip but this is not eye-visible, and the crown is crisp and clean.
