A collection of Egyptian antiquities New Kingdom - Romano Egyptian including four composite shabtis, two clay frog oil lamps, seven miniature bowls and vessels and an oil lamp, a red polished pottery vessel, an alabaster vessel, a scarab with a carved base, a turquoise bead, a small faience animal, a black stone figural amulet, a bronze lizard sarcophagus, a carved stone hieroglyph fragment and two painted clay shabtis. A ruby and diamond seven stone ring, composed of graduated rubies and alternating pairs of old cut brilliants, the diamonds totalling 0.40 carat, mounted in yellow metal (tests 18 carat gold), finger size X, 4.9gms CONDITION: rubies with abraded facet edges, minimum inclusions, lovely vivid Pr colour. Diamonds clean and bright.
A tanzanite and diamond ring, the square/mixed cut stone approx. 6.5 carats, in a surround of brilliants totalling approx 1.2 carats, to baguette cut shoulders, mounted in white metal (tests 18 carat gold), finger size W/V, 11.7gms CONDITION: noted inclusions below the table, including negative crystal, and two small needle like mineral inclusions, small scratch to table, otherwise appears clean and vivid to the eye. Diamonds average VS, bright, lively and uniform. Shank misshapen.
An impressive diamond dress ring, the central brilliant approx. 2.6 carats, claw set above brilliant cut set cross over shoulders, totalling approx. 1.2 carats, mounted in white metal (tests 18 carat gold), finger size S/T, 7.7gms CONDITION: central stone lively and bright to the naked eye, although it is drawing a little colour, feathers and dark mineral inclusions about the girdle of the stone. No surface damage. Remaining diamonds bright and uniform.
A 19th century sapphire stick pin, the cushion cut stone approx. 1.99 carat, claw set, the pin and setting tests 15 carat gold), 1.5gms, together with a diamond set stick pin, stamped '18ct', (the pin tests 9 carat), 1.8gms (2) CONDITION: very light sapphire, with hexagonal colour zoning, minimum deterioration to facet edges.
An 18 carat gold, sapphire and diamond ring, the central emerald cut sapphire approx. 1.8 carat, claw set above two 0.10 carat brilliants, the shank fully hallmarked, finger size N, 3gms CONDITION: sapphire quite dark and a little clouded but a vivid Bv when observed in daylight. Diamonds nice and white, although one with black mineral inclusion to side of stone. Shank solid.
