CONDITION REPORTS: One stone has a bruise, one stone has a flaking chip, but the other stones are undamaged. The pin is slightly bent, possibly due to being pushed through thick fabric.

DIAMOND PENDANT. A platinum set solitaire pendant of approx. 1.79ct. spread. VVS2/N. Hallmarked platinum chain but with replacement bolt ring. CONDITION REPORTS: This pendant is in good condition. The stone is undamaged. The chain is as described in the catalogue and measures 45cm in length.
DIAMOND BROOCH/PENDANT. A Victorian lozenge shape diamond brooch, set a variety of old cut stones, the central stone of approx 0.50ct. spread. Removable brooch mount for conversion to pendant. CONDITION REPORTS: This brooch is in good, original condition. The diamonds are all intact and of antique cut. The reverse is yellow gold and all the catches/fitments are sound. The brooch, which is lozenge shape, measures 3.5 x 3.5cm.
DIAMOND RING. An 18ct. gold, three stone diamond ring. The largest stone of approx. 1ct. spread. The smaller stones approx. 0.40ct. spread. Size W/X. CONDITION REPORTS: The central stones measures 6.2 x 2.95. The colour is H/J and the clarity is SI2. The smaller stones are 4.9 and 4.8. The colour is H/J and the clarity is SI1 and VS2.
DIAMOND PENDANT. An early 20th century diamond pendant, with pear cut drop (now on a modern chain which has been threaded through two bolt rings). Length 5cm. CONDITION REPORTS: This pendant is in good, pre-owned condition, with all stones intact and undamaged. The front is set in platinum, with gold to the reverse. We are not qualified gemologists but the diamonds look clear and quite bright. The pear drop measures approx. 7 x 5mm. The stone at the top measures approx. 3mm diameter. The platinum suspension rod, above the pear drop diamond has surface scratching commensurate with age/wear, but is only visible under magnification. The chain, as mentioned in the catalogue description, is a replacement, appears to be newer, as it threads through two suspension rings, suggesting that originally, the pendant was suspended with chain to either side attached to the rings. It measures 45cm. It bears no hallmarks. The top diamond is approx. 0.25ct spread. The pear drop measures 7cm (top to bottom) by 5cm, at the widest point. The remaining small diamonds may total 0.50ct.
DIAMOND RING. A platinum diamond & cluster ring, the central stone of approx. 0.7ct. spread. Weight 6.5g. Size of setting 12mm. approx. Size P. CONDITION REPORTS: The ring has PLAT stamped to the inside of the shank and is size O. The central diamond measures approx 5.90mm x 5.85mm. The depth is 3.27mm. The estimated weight of the stone is 0.70cts. The colour/clarity is L-M/SI 1. The eight border stones each have an approximate width of 3.2mm and an estimated weight of 0.12ct each. The colour/clarity is J-K/VS 2.
DIAMOND RING. An Austrian gold & diamond ring, the central stone of approx. 0.65ct. spread. Size L/M. CONDITION REPORTS: This ring is in good, pre-owned condition. The stones are all intact and appear original. The shank has worn a little thin, but is still wearable. Overall, a very attractive ring. We are not qualified gemologists, but can report that one of the stones at the top point of the ring has a fissure, visible with 60 x magnification. The central stone is quite clean but some of the smaller stones are included. The stone with the fissure has inclusions.

The life in this lush province on the Vietnamese border left an unforgettable impact on the artist, which remains his main inspiration throughout the years. With two fellow artists, He Neng and Liu Shaohui, Jiang secretly formed the nucleus of what was first called the Heavy Colorist School and is now known as the Yunnan School. Tiefeng's work quickly gained prominence and his talent was conceded by the authorities of China. The government assigned him production of Social Realism propaganda posters and sculptures during the Cultural Revolution. At that time, he painted the famous poster of red-faced Chairman Mao. Later, he became one of the well-known illustrators of children's books in China. In 1979, he was commissioned to paint a mural representing the Yunnan province for the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. This was the 'Stone Forest' mural, one of Jiang's finest works.EXPERTISE: Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity issued by the artist at Fingerhut Gallery.
