Ein Paar Mamelieres, Sammleranfertigungen des Historismus Gewölbte, fein getriebene Scheiben, gegliedert durch gegratete, spitz zulaufende Strahlen, vs. vollflächig mit Rankenwerk geätzt. Zwischen den Strahlen Futternieten bzw. die dafür vorgesehenen Löcher. Mittig jeweils eine an den Rändern leicht beschädigte Öffnung zur Aufnahme eines zentralen Dorns(?). Eine Scheibe mit kleinen Beschädigungen an den Spitzen zweier Strahlen. Durchmesser je 20 cm.Mamelieres wurden ab dem 14. The lot comprising a 19th century brass Japanese mortar with lion head decoration, a 19th century North African copper pot with embossed floral and foliate decoration, and an 18th century incense burner with removable stone centre and hammered scrolling decoration. Tallest to measure approx. 7cm tall, 8cm wide.

A collection of three 19th century Chinese stone printed pamphlets / 'comic' books, each printed on xuan paper and bound by hand. Each catalogue book having the record of the names and the address of the brothel houses in old Shanghai. The first edition published in 1894 (Guangxu period), this set lacking one book (Summer) and possibly a later version. Each measuring approx. 12cm x 14cm.

Frühe Lithographie, von 4 Steinen gedruckt. Angeregt durch seine Arbeiten für die Zeitschrift Pan begann Liebermann sich mit der Technik der Lithographie zu beschäftigen. Für Bildnisse zog er diese Technik der Radierung vor, wenn auch im Gesamtoeuvre die Radiertechnik den Vorrang behielt. - Gedruckt von vier Steinen: Zeichnungsplatte (schwarz) und Tonplatten in Blau, Gelb und Rot. Laut Schiefler variieren die Drucke in der Farbintensität. - ZUSTAND: auf Anfrage. - LITERATUR: Schiefler 41 b (von b). Early orig. color lithograph, printed from 4 stones. Signed.
