CONDITION REPORT: The jade stone is +/- 15 mm x 9 mm and just under 3 mm deep at highest point. Beneath the surface there is a 5 mm brown natural inclusion in the stone which is surrounded by other smaller and finer inclusions which can be viewed through a jewellers loupe in daylight. The second ring in this lot has a large central opal +/- 5 mm x 3 mm, this has a chip to the bottom right hand corner which should be visible from the images. The flanking opals are +/- 4 mm x 3 mm and appear to be in good order and free from any obvious chips or cracks.
A composition stone obelisk, of inverted square tapering form supported upon four balls in turn above a square plinth base, 43 cm wide, 182 cm high. CONDITION REPORT: The obelisk is in generally good order. It does have some surface scratches caused by the removal. One of the four ball supports is cracked in half but both pieces are present. Other than this and minor scuffs and marks the piece is in good condition. Please note that this is not stone but some form of concrete.
A Chinese 18 ct white gold ring, jade set, size L, stamped "18 K", 4.8 grams. CONDITION REPORT: The jade stone measures 21 mm x 6 mm and is +/- 2.5 mm deep. The stone is intact although looking through a jewellers loupe there are some internal fine fractures. Other than that the item is in good decorative order throughout.
A C&F 9 ct gold mounted amethyst brooch. CONDITION REPORT: As this is a natural piece of amethyst there are numerous scratches and chips to the facets. These are not particularly evident unless viewed with a loupe. Dimensions 45 mm x 45 mm. Depth at deepest point +/- 22 mm. The stone is secure in the mount. There is no damage to the mount and the clip works correctly.
A 9 ct gold bar brooch, with inset aquamarine and pearl body, stamped 9 ct, 1.8 grams together with another 9 ct gold bar brooch 1.7 grams. CONDITION REPORT: The spider brooch appears to be in good order with no significant issues. The aquamarine is very dirty but does not have any significant scuffs or marks. There is a very tiny area of the amethyst mount that is missing. This is only visible under a loupe and is probably 0.25 mm in width. It is not problematic. The second brooch is also in good order generally. The pin is a little bent but operates correctly. The stone does not have any chips or abrasions and is secure in the claw setting.
A ladies Continental 18 ct gold ring, set with central diamond flanked by three square emeralds to the shoulder, stamped "750", size M. CONDITION REPORT: The ring is in structurally good condition. There are no loose stones. Two of the emeralds have small facet chips which are clearly visible using a x 10 loupe. The diamond appears to be in good order. There are some minor scratches and nicks around the stone mounts. We are not sure as to the age of the ring but would guess 40 years old.

An emerald ring, the oval stone flanked to either side by three cut diamonds within an open basket shoulder, on gold metal shank, emerald 12 mm x 8 mm, size S/T (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The depth of the emerald is +/- 3.5 mm. There are polished surface lines on the stone and a small chip to one edge. The ring has been resized at some point. A Chinese jade dragon pendant, early 20th century, carved both sides, the stone a uniform colour throughout, 5.2 cm high (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The stone is a good uniform colour throughout. When looking at the whiskers of the dragon the left-hand side end appears rough whilst the right-hand side appears smooth. This may lead one to believe that the whiskers may have been slightly longer. The short dragon beard does not appear to have been tampered with. Other than those faults pointed out it appears to be in good order. The right-hand whisker appears to be a rounded and finished whereas the left-hand whisker looks a little grainy.
