AN EARLY TO MID 20TH CENTURY SCOTTISH DIRK, 29.5cm blade with faceted back edge, characteristic white metal mounted hilt, carved basket weave wooden grip set with studs, the pommel with faceted orange stone, contained in its white metal mounted scabbard complete with companion knife and fork.
A 19TH CENTURY SCOTTISH DIRK, 31cm fullered blade with faceted back edge, characteristic hilt with white metal thistle mounts, carved basket weave wooden grip, the pommel set with a faceted citrine stone, contained in its white metal mounted leather scabbard, decorated to match, complete with companion knife and fork. Leather covering worn, lifting and with losses. The throat mount is engraved with the crest and motto of the Wilson Clan and the bi-knife bears the maker's name of Turner.

Gross weight approximately 12.0 grams.The diamond has several 10x visible inclusions which do not apprear to impact the attractiveness or stability of the stone. The stone has moderate fluorescence under long wave ultra violet light.

The medal having stamped 9ct gold top bar and suspension to read Roll of Honour, Alma Lodge over medal with central silver bull to centre in relief set with faceted red stone eyes upon a silver gilt knights templar with enameled white lettering to read Roll of Honour, Palmam.Qui. Meruit.Ferat with green guilloche enamel and eight paste stones. The obverse to read Presented by the Hon Sir W. G. H. Wilkins 13th Jan 1960'. The top bar and suspension having 19th century 9ct gold stamps and the medal having London hallmark 1959. Marks for Louis Simpson. In original Louis Simpson case. Measures 11cm length.
