Estate of Dave Prowse - Star Wars - Mr Prowse's personally owned copy of Rolling Stone magazine from August 25th 1977 featuring Star Wars cast members to the cover. A handwritten note to the top reads ' Sue - See Page 46 ' and on page 46 is a circled question to George Lucas which reads 'Was the other Darth Vader angry that his voice was knocked out?' to which Lucas' reply is ' No, he sort of knew when we hired him. He is an actor, David Prowse, and he has a very strong brogue....'. This is perhaps the very beginning of what became a lifelong battle with Lucas and Lucasfilm Ltd where Mr Prowse claimed to have never known his voice would be replaced with that of James Earl Jones. A unique and interesting piece of Star Wars history.
