James. "Fantasy fiction about the search for and capture of a troll in Denmark and the bringing of it back to England. The protagonists are W.J. Stone, M.R. An Anglo-Saxon female skull, aged approximately thirteen, with a contemporary head wound, with a detached lower jaw, 16cm high, 13cm wide. Provenance: By repute this skull was carbon dated to 1000AD and its place of origin was Britain. It was excavated near Hastings, Sussex in 1960 by Herbert Stone, late of Harlow Essex. The forensic pathology was carried out by Dr. P. Lewin of New Mount Sinai Hospital, 550 University Avenue, Toronto, Ontario.
