The shank is worn slightly flat. It is not hallmarked or stamped but in our opinion would test as gold. The principle diamond weighs 0.30 carat approximately. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour G/H, clarity SI1/SI2. The second bar brooch is deficient of one diamond. It fastens with a pin and safety catch. Gross weight 6.0 grams. Graham London numbered 842, with gilt metal pierced and engraved case with fitted steel repeating bell, case also numbered 842, the pierced engraved balance cock with diamond end stone, engraved 842 on underside. The movement appears to have had its push repeating mechanism removed, gilt dust cover signed Geo Graham London, 50mm. dia. With associated gilt metal tortoiseshell case.
