A late 19th/early 20th century German bisque socket-head doll, by Alt, Beck & Gottschalck, known as "Sweet Nell", the bisque head above original ball-jointed wood and composition body with original finish, dressed in lavender moire silk taffeta dress with matching lace hat with eyelet undergarments.
