Two Meissen figures 20th century, one from the set of four emblematic of `The Senses`, modelled as a lady in a fine pink and white sprigged and striped dress and green sprigged jacket, seated at a Queen Anne style table with reticulated gilt bird cage, on a shaped base with gilt decoration, blue crossed swords, impressed `40 56`, incised `E4`, 5¾in. (14.5cm.) high, firing flaw to base; the other a girl holding a basket of flowers from The Four Seasons, blue crossed swords, impressed `29` and incised `2`, 5 1/8in. (13cm.) high. (2)
Two English 18th century porcelain figurines comprising Mars on a domed base with applied flowers and foliate moulded border, possibly early Derby, c.1760, 7in. (17.75cm.) high; together with a figure of a lady, probably Derby, in a purple sprigged dress and pale blue hat beside floral bocage, on a turquoise and gilt decorated rococo base, 6¾in. (17cm.) high, both with losses and restoration. (2)
A Russian silver chatelaine clip probably late 19th century, the clip modelled as a regal Russian gentleman with billowing and feathered head-dress inset with central cabochon jade decoration and a single small emerald, his front with two small turquoise stones set as buttons, strap-form clip verso with floral and foliate decoration, impressed mark `84`, Moscow city mark and maker`s mark `MH`, above a pierced scroll work cartouche inset with oval floral engraved cabochon Citrine flanked by two oval cabochon garnets and a centralised pearl, from which hang three silver charm suspension chains, the central chain bearing symmetrical cartouche with inset floral cut domed citrine, above a seated cherub pendant and ladies hand charm, the bottom charm modelled as a ladies hand, flanked by two shorter chains comprising cherub, floral, cherubic face and ladies hand charms, 7in. (17.8cm.) long overall. See Illustration
A Military Cross medal group awarded to Major William Arthur Peter Crofts MC, TD. of the 1st Battalion Hereford Regiment (66667). The group comprising of the Military Cross (George VI GRI), the 1939 - 45 Star, France and Germany Star, Defence Medal, 1939-45 Medal and Territorial Army Efficiency Decoration (GVIR) with two bars (both EIIR). The medal group is supported by a large quantity of related letters, photographs and ephemera; including an initialled Dunhill 'Giant' table lighter to Croft from Reginald Charles Fripp DSO, a song written by comrades about Major Croft and RC Fripp's exploits and a collection of Herfordshire Regiment dress uniform etc. A miniature group of medals is also included. According to the included citation Major Crofts was awarded the MC at Thel on 14th August 1944 after having personally 'led his men on to the consolidated position' and personally placed them at their posts'. The whole attack was carried out under enemy machine gun and mortar fire, with the success of the operation due to the 'power of leadership shown by this officer'. Following a gruelling march on 17th August 1944, Major Crofts again breathed new life into his tired men and led an attack in the face of machine-gun fire, dislodging and capturing enemy positions.

THREE PAIRS OF CONTINENTAL PORCELAIN FIGURES comprising a pair of half-length child figures, one with a dog, one with a bunch of flowers, each inscribed to the underside `Geschutzt`, each 26cm high; a pair of full-length male and female figures in gold dress, the male figure with an artist`s palette and a cherub supported painting, each 29.5cm high; and a pair of figural candlesticks, with blue crossed swords marks, each 20cm high The half-length figures: one has a damage to the bow in the hair. The full-length flgures: the lady figure has a crack at her neck, the male figure missing the paintbrush. The candlesticks: one sconce is broken off though present.
