A lilac loose full length coat with long sleeves. The front and neckline have a flora embroidered decoration which runs down to an approximately 12 in deep hemline. The bell shaped sleeves are finished with the same design. On the lower left hand side is a small hole. Lined in a very pale lilac and dating to the 1920s/ 30s. size 16. A long brocade full length skirt (previously a Victorian petticoat) with a black background and gold foliage pattern satin waistband, side metal zip fastening and a badly damaged quilted lining. Early 50s, with shortening of this skirt there would be no damage. A sapphire blue brocade fitted cocktail dress with shoestring straps and buckram underskirt. The bodice is boned and lined in royal blue satin. The metal zip has been replaced by a nylon one. The matching jacket is collarless on to a stitched boat neckline and has elbow length sleeves which are finished with a deep pleated frill. It is fully lined in royal blue satin. Early 60s (3)

A good sized collection of fancy dress costumes including belly dancing belts encrusted with diamante and covered in sequins, a hot pink fishtail dress with sequinned hearts and bead fringing, a bejewelled animal print dress, a purple satin box purse and an ethnic style apron skirt with braided wool fringe and shell encrusted waist band. Good condition.

A mid 60s LBD in grosgrain with capped sleeves which have a cut out v decoration. The neckline has a deep v design at the back and has a metal zip. The semi fitted dress has darts stitched from the waistline and is fully lined. Sz 10/12. A full length black chiffon and lace evening dress which has considerable damage. The waistline falls in a low v design and the hemline has chiffon godets. Sz 12 1929/1931. Also in lauded in the lot are a pair of 1920s evening shoes which are covered in grey, pink and gold woven embroidered fabric. The heels and straps and gold. Made by Lightfoot. The toe of the left shoe has some wear, sz 4. (3)

This would appear to be a dress made for a country house costumed ball and is pale dusky pink and beige brocade. The back is pin tucked down to the v shaped waistline and the dress has a very full gathered skirt which is open at the front. The bodice has tiny bows in the Georgian style The shantung silk lining is shredded. Possibly made 1920s/ 30s. A late Victorian olive green walking out costume made bt S.A. Brooking of Westbourne grove London. The long design bodice made from crushed velvet has covered buttons (2 are missing), two pockets and a weighted hemline. The back of the jacket is long and was made for a half caged bustle. The skirt is made in an olive green slub taffeta and has stitched panels and a velvet panel at the hem which is finished with pie crust taffeta. Some fading on parts of the jacket and the lining in the skirt and jacket is damaged. (2)
A pink fitted 1986 dress by Salmone & Green, size 10, with decoration of seeds and pearls and sequins and grey beaded foliage on the sleeves, nylon zip, semi pleated at the back, mid calf; an emerald green taffeta full length dress, pleated, from 1961, the waist is pleated decoration under the bustline, which runs round the back, into a train, size 10 and a belt which is part of the sash - this has a side zip; a black sequinned jacket, size 10 by Bernshaw, hip length (3)

A black satin late victorian bodice (1895/1900), fully boned with short, puffed sleeves and gathered bands which fall into pie crust pleating. The v neckline has a smocked modesty front in cream. Made by John Cordeau and sons of Clifton. A small black lace cape to fit around the neckline of a dress, it has a velvet collar and velvet and lace ties (1890/1895). A cream satin and lace victorian boned bodice with a ruffled neckline in lace and tulle. The puffed sleeves are gathered into a ruffle effect.
