Pink sapphire ring - hallmarked 18ct, London 2004, sapphire measures approximately 7.61mm x 5.80mm, ring size S, total gross weight 3.75 grams. Blue sapphire ring - hallmarked 18ct Birmingham 2005, sapphire measures approximately 7.65mm x 6.10mm, total gross weight 3.80 grams, ring size S. John Smart (1741 - 1811), watercolour on ivory - miniature portrait of a lady, in blue dress with pearl-drop front, signed with initials and dated 1767, 3.5cm x 3cm, oval, in glazed frame with seed pearl and red stone border, presented in D. S. Lavender silk-lined folding case. Provenance: Probably purchased D. S. Lavender, London 1986 (described on receipt as dated 1768) CONDITION REPORT Under glass, not examined out of frame miniature appears to be in good condition with only very slight wear to far outer edge. Frame with two pearls and one red stone missing, reverse has solder residue from a previous scheme of mounting
