Housed in its original paper cover and addressed card box. Accompanied by various paperwork relating to the Brogan family and the book “The History of the Dress of the Royal Regiment of Artillery 1625-1897” by Captain R J Macdonald RA. Both books remain in good condition.

1879 Inkwell Figure of a Zulu Warrior, fine quality silver plated figure of a Zulu warrior in full battle dress, the head on a hinge which reveals glass inkwell container. Writing instrument placed inside fist to resemble an Assegai. Mounted onto a steeped base which has registration mark dating the piece to 1879. Stands 23cms.
