Book – “Guns at the Wood – A Record of St John’s Wood Barracks” Limited Edition, 450 of 500 Copies, privately published book presented on 9th August 1972 to Beryl June Brogan wife of the late Lt Col T H Brogan RHA. Housed in its original paper cover and addressed card box. Accompanied by various paperwork relating to the Brogan family and the book “The History of the Dress of the Royal Regiment of Artillery 1625-1897” by Captain R J Macdonald RA. Both books remain in good condition.

GG Frey, makers of the Tryolean Loden capes and coats, fully illustrated with prices, also showing hats, scarves, rucksacks, climbing accoutrements, ski equipment and traditional dress from the Oberbayern and Tirol regions (centre pages loose but otherwise in very good condition); a 12pp price list/guide to Ceylon dealer of precious stones, pearls and diamonds J Wickramanayaka & Co (rear page loose); copy of Every Woman’s Encyclopaedia – Home Chat 20/10/1910 (small tear front cover).

1879 Inkwell Figure of a Zulu Warrior, fine quality silver plated figure of a Zulu warrior in full battle dress, the head on a hinge which reveals glass inkwell container. Writing instrument placed inside fist to resemble an Assegai. Mounted onto a steeped base which has registration mark dating the piece to 1879. Stands 23cms.
