A mother-of-pearl fan, c.1840, signed E Van Dyke and Justin, the sticks pierced with figures in ovals, cherubs and flowers, the paper painted with figures in 18th century dress, 54cm wide CONDITION REPORT: Wear along folds of fan. One finger has loss to surface of mother of pearl and a split. Some loss to metallic highlighting on outside fingers. Some creases to edges of paper. Tear to left hand side of fan.
