Christiane Brix Klitgaard-May (British 1876-1954), large oil painting on canvas, portrait of gentlemen in Highland dress, with label verso "Sandy & Doug"?. 180 cm x 136 cm. ARR CONDITION REPORT: The painting is in generally good order with no significant issues. There are two canvas patches to the rear, one of which corresponds with a tear across the front right hand foot and the other just below the knee of the right hand leg of the standing figure. Both repairs are effective. The painting is framed in an ornate gilt frame which again has had numerous repairs to the corners and small losses. The frame is presentable but is damaged if one looks closely.
