LOVE ACTUALLY (2003) Keira Knightley screen used Wedding Dress and pair of Bridesmaid dresses as used in the production of Richard Curtis' romantic comedy ''Love Actually'' from 2003 during the wedding of Juliet (Keira Knightley) to Peter (Chiwetel Ejiofor). The dresses were designed by costume designer Joanna Johnston. The Wedding dress and Bridesmaid dresses are all size 8. The custom-made Wedding dress is made of a number of different layers starting with a pale pink slip skirt and an asymmetric dress made of net material featuring white sequin detailing and snap fastenings along the side. A lace wrap-around skirt and matching short sleeved asymmetric bolero are worn over the dress, with the skirt featuring a large metal brooch with pearl and diamanté detailing to fasten. A sheer, white, long-sleeved chiffon jacket, including a long sweeping train featuring feather and bead detailing around the collar and cuffs with a small beaded hook at the end of the train and hook and eye fastenings run down the front. The costume is completed with a feathered fascinator and faux bridal bouquet featuring a length of white chiffon leaves. There is slight fraying on the hem of the lace skirt and many of the leaves are no longer present on the bouquet, however overall the costume remains in very good condition. The Bridesmaid dresses are sleeveless, pale pink A-Line dresses and made of chiffon with metallic mesh overlay. They feature frayed detailing on the hem of the lining and a pink bow on the back with a zip fastening. Accompanying one of the dresses is a pale pink bolero made from sheer chiffon material with frayed detail on the hem and cuffs. Custom-made for the film, the dresses display names on the zips reading 'Nicky' and 'Dawn' respectively. Provenance - Bought from The Prop Store and with two Prop Store Certificates of Authenticity.

Ursula Mary Lawley, daughter of Sir Arthur Lawley (later the 6th Baron Wenlock). They had two sons, successively the 2nd and 3rd Barons Wraxall. The wedding, which took place in July 1927 at St Margaret's Church, Westminster, was attended by King George V and Queen Mary. The Hon. Ursula Lawley had previously been Maid of Honour to Queen Mary, between 1912 and 1927.Elizabeth Handley-Seymour (1867-1948) was a London-based fashion designer and court-dressmaker operating as Madame Handley-Seymour between 1910 and 1940. She is best known for creating the wedding dress worn by Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon, the future Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother, for her marriage to the Duke of York in 1923; and later, Queen Elizabeth's coronation gown in 1937.
