Antique Heubach Koppelsdorf Doll, 18". Markings on back of head no 300-1 Germany. Early 1900’s doll with a bisque head and body composition with moving ball and socket joints. She has very detailed facial features which include dark blue sleep eyes, rosy cheeks and parted lips to show front teeth. Head is completed with a brown wig. The doll wears a cream Silk dress with lace trim. She also wears a cream slip under her dress and a satin ribbon around her waist. All joints on the doll move with ease as do the sleep eyes. Condition is generally very good, albeit some rust spots on clothing and delicate shoes. Slight peeling on knuckle of left hand. Rare. Note: We are happy to provide additional images of any lot. Antique Armand Marseille Doll, 20". Dolly Face doll mould 370 0 DEP antique bisque shoulder head doll, Riveted jointed body, sleep glass eyes, painted brows, painted upper and lower eye lashes, open mouth, teeth. She is wearing handmade clothing which appear to be custom made for her; green Silk dress and sheer patterned black lace trimmings. Under her dress is an ivory cotton slip and matching bloomers. Rare 10.5" African featured Pedigree baby doll. There are no makers markings, but does have 'Made in England' on her back. Hard plastic doll, astrakhan wig with molded hair under her wig. Europe.- Costume.- English School (circa 1820-1830) A group of 32 European costume studies, from eastern France, Switzerland, and Northern Italy, including the regional dress of Dijon, Besançon, Berne, Lucerne, Zurich, the Valais, Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen, and The Monks of St Bernard, as well as Northern Italy with Venetian women, alongside others, watercolour and gouache, traces of graphite, on cream J. Whatman wove paper, several watermarked '1821', each sheet approx. 215 x 290 mm. (8 1/2 x 11 1/3 in), loose, some minor surface dirt, all unframed, [c.1820s].⁂ A particularly fine record of local and regional dress, presumably from a single journey, made by an English artist travelling to Italy in the first half of the 19th century.
