A Wonderful and Important 1984 Silk Jersey Zandra Rhodes Cocktail Dress, black with diamante details, backless, with batwing sleeves, Swarovski crystal trim, a satin top stitch belt and covered buttons, approximately size UK 8. Provenance: This item comes from Katherine E Wise who worked, hand finishing for Zandra Rhodes. This dress was made especially for Katherine as all the girls were allowed `a dress a year`. Katherine later went on to work with Norman Hartnell and John Galliano. She worked at Galliano between 1988 and early 1990s.
