A green and red damask satin day dress, late 1850s-early 1860s, adorned with simple ribbon bands, bust approx 86cm, 34in; together with a brocaded yellow satin ball gown by Madame Durhart of London, c.1900; and a Valenciennes inset petticoat (qty) CONDITION REPORT: Perspiration stains at underarms on 1860 dress, bodice decorations largely lacking on the yellow satin gown and waistband on skirt has been altered, chiffon overlay on bodice is torn, split in satin at right underarm. Petticoat is good condition.
A beaded and embroidered golden tulle evening dress, circa 1928-9, the ground entirely covered with metal seed beaded peonies, with sequined medallions to the scalloped hem with tulle flounce, bust approx 92cm, 36in CONDITION REPORT: Tulle is thinning over shoulders - but could be easily re-backed. Beadwork is generally good. Large tears in tulle ground to two large rose motifs on front of dress and occasional scattered small holes in tulle in damaged areas, needs re-backing to be wearable.

Still has tacking stitches at side seams · Ombre example - good condition, interior corset is discoloured from perspiration · Pink lace - good condition · Green silk - hem is un-finished/has been let down, perspiration stains at underarms, silk is shattering at underarms, shoulder straps and back zipper. Nicely made with interior corset and hand finished · Gold and pink brocade - good condition, 2 small brown stains to front left of skirt · Pink with belt - good condition, hem has been raised approx. 2in. Dress is good condition, no problems.
A beaded and embroidered couture ivory chiffon bridal or presentation tunic-dress, circa 1928, adorned with couched love knots, rhinestones, floss silk and bugle beaded bands, bust approx 92cm, 36in; together with an ivory chiffon and silver lace edged trained with large pearl and silver beaded bow; and a quantity of lingerie c.1900-20 (qty) CONDITION REPORT: Dress: faint champagne stain to back right neck-bodice area, dress would have been worn with a silk underslip which is missing, embroidery and beading are good, slight tarnishing to love-knots on shoulders. Train: it is non-matching with the dress, though similar colours and dress has pres-studs to attach. Gold lace and pearl bead embroidery is generally good but numerous scattered small holes and 8x6cm L-shaped tear. Lingerie: fair/poor condition, silk nightie has tear at left underarm, matching knickers have a rip rear waist centre back, monogrammed split drawers have a few holes and repairs, lace trim has been removed from neck edge of bed cape.
