A diamond dress ring having a duo of diamonds, each approx 1.5ct in a claw set crossover mount on a white metal loop stamped Plat, size L/M & approx 4.9g. Diamonds are bright white, clear and metallic with no inclusions visible with the naked eye, however inclusions are visible under magnification. they dont appear hazy or cloudy.

An impressive hand decorated 19th century porcelain tray marked Vienna and bearing beehive stamp in a gilt and gesso frame having decorated plaque roundals signed Fruhlingsreigen 'A Song of Spring' painted with maidens in summer dress. Signed Johner. Tray dimensions 57cm x 44cm (without frame) tray and panels in good condition without aparant damage or repair, the giltwood and gesso frame with losses to the gesso mouldings and cracks to each.

The interior is original and very clean, with a great overall look and only some very slight wear marks on the fortune teller's dress. The plastic top piece is in exceptional condition overall, with only one small area of repair on the very top right-hand corner not visible from the front view. OTTO DIX (1891 Untermhaus bei Gera - 1969 Singen) Selbstbildnis im ProfilLithographie auf Kupferdruckpapier. 1922.21 x 15 cm (37,4 x 27,7 cm).Auflage ca. 100 Ex.Karsch 50.Kräftiger Druck mit Rand. Der Künstler setzt sich selbst ins Profil nach links, mit sauber nach hinten gekämmten Haaren und akkuratem Dress. Doch dieses Gesicht hat viel erlebt: Die tiefliegenden Augen blicken mürrisch, der Mund ist fest geschlossen, der Unterkiefer mit dem langen Kinn energisch nach vorn geschoben. Gerade einmal dreißigjährig, trägt der Kriegsheimkehrer bereits tiefe Falten in Wangen und Stirn.

R. studied graphic design, illustration and sculpture in Bielefeld and Bremen, has been carving figuratively since childhood and prefers to work in large format with the chainsaw. Her motifs are mostly voluptuous female figures made of oak. Since 2009 numerous collective and individual exhibitions. The artist lives and works in Ahausen (Lower Saxony).

A Royal Air Force No 1 dress tunic jacket belonging to Warrant Officer Percy Sekine; together with a quantity of photographs and letters relating to his time whilst serving and subsequently as a Prisoner of War.Note: Unusually, Sekine, who was of Japanese descent but living in London where is father worked for The Mitsui Bank, volunteered for the Royal Air Force at the outbreak of the Second World War and served as a wireless operator and air gunner in No 83 Squadron. In 1942, whilst on a mission over Holland, his Handley Page Hampden bomber was shot down and he was forced to bail out. Several of his crew were not so lucky. Captured and initially imprisoned in Stalag 383 in Bavaria, he immediately formed a Judo club (he was a Black Belt at the age of 19). Sekine made three unsuccessful attempts at escaping and spent time in four different Prisoner of War camps. After the war he represented Great Britain in international judo tournaments four times and was never beaten. He was also Coach of the British National Judo Team.
