Schwertermarke Meissen, um 1830, Aufbau in architektonischer und figürlicher Darstellung, eine antikisch gekleidete Dame in rosafarbenem Kleid und mit Streublumen besetztem Umhang steht an einem Tempieto mit Vierkantsäulen und Komposit-Kapitellen, in dem sich die Uhr befindet, der Dachaufbau des klassizistischen Gebäudes in einem Segmentbogen-Giebel mit seitlichen Rosetten, an der Seite der Dame ein Pudel, auf dem Segmentbogen-Gesims ein dionysischer Putto mit Weinranken, Sockel und Architekturaufbau mit Streublumen geschmückt, unterhalb der Uhr ein Gemälde-Medaillon mit einem sitzenden, musizierendem Paar, im Giebel eine Ruinenlandschaft mit Brücke, Acht-Tage-Gehwerk, Pendel mit Fadenaufhängung, HxBxT: 39/30/14 cm. A LATE VICTORIAN MARBLE TOP CREDENZA, painted decoration, green ground, gilded & painted with floral panels, central single door on closed base, 126cm wide x 46cm x 95cm highCondition report: The marble has some scratches and a few sharp edge chips (quite small) particularly on right side to the back, the paint is distressed in parts, rubbed / kicked off in the areas particularly at the foot base, some moulding missing, mainly on central door, interior re-fitted with some drawers, no back on it, it came out of an exclusive ladies dress shop in Stratford-upon-Avon, (the vendor used it as their counter, lot 311 is similarly painted and came from the same shop).

Bauer in Bad Ems', precision fore-sight; engraved tang, marked '2' and with adjustable rear sight (complete with a key). Forward spring lock, richly engraved with floral motifs in bass-relief on a dark ground, signed around the cock 'CHR. BAUER IN BAD EMS'; wooden, three-quarters stock with grooved butt and engraved fore-end cap. Iron mounts, decorated en suite.
