Stephanie Caeiro, "Portuguese girls", oil on canvas, 45 x 45cm, c. 2021. I painted two young girls dressed in Portuguese traditional costumes. This used to be the way people used to dress during my grandmother's time. I wanted to show how warm and sunny Portugal is in my mind, by painting them tanned, with great contrast between light and shadow, with her eyes semi closed as if they can't open them fully because it is so bright. Lieutenant Colonel Sheppard wore his uniform throughout Season 5, as he served as a commander of the First Atlantis Reconnaissance Team.The costume consists of a black cotton shirt and a pair of trousers, both made from cotton ripstop fabric. The shirt features epaulettes, five buttons running down the front, an Atlantis patch on the right sleeve, and an American flag patch on the left sleeve. A zip fly fastening is situated on the front of the trousers, and a label reading "Sheppard, May 08, 1 of (4)" is located inside the waistband. There are minor plucks present on the flag patch, and the costume exhibits some loose threads and minor wear from use. Estimate: £600 - 800 M

Miss Teschmacher wore her red dress while distracting a team of soldiers by pretending to be a car-accident casualty as part of Lex Luthor's (Gene Hackman) plan to reprogramme two nuclear missiles. The red halterneck dress features pleating at the front, a zip down the left side, and an incorporated boned underbust corset. A Bermans & Nathans costumier label reading "Valerie Perrine, 12339, Superman" is sewn to the lining, while the text "3, lying on ground" is written on a tag in black ink. Neiman's suit was bloodied when he got into a car crash on his way to perform in a recital under abusive teacher Fletcher (J.K. Simmons). This lot consists of a black wool suit jacket with matching trousers; a white cotton blend button-up dress shirt heavily blood-stained by production; a white cotton undershirt; and a black silk tie. The dress shirt is distressed by production to appear damaged, while the left leg of the trousers is frayed on the side from production wear and age. Estimate: £400 - 600 Ω

Shosanna wore her dress to the premiere of Nazi propaganda film Stolz der Nation, where she was shot to death by Fredrick Zoller (Daniel Brühl), but not before enacting her plan to take down the Nazi leadership. The dress is made from a red, crepe-like material, with zips running up the back and arms, and ruffled detailing on each side. The dress features three intentional marks on the chest, where Shosanna was shot. It has no size labelling, and shows some wear from production use, including light plucking and loose threads. Chick wore his spacesuit as he, Harry Stamper (Bruce Willis) and the crew of the Freedom planted a nuclear bomb on the surface of an asteroid to prevent it from destroying the Earth. Constructed primarily from a heavy-weave, nylon-like material, the costume comprises a grey fibreglass helmet featuring a wide acrylic visor; a metal-and-resin collar; a front-and-back pack; a long-sleeved top and a pair of trousers that connect via a zip around the waist; a pair of gloves with metal locking rings; a utility belt; and a pair of modified Vans boots covered in dress-up components (labelled "Chick, Size 10½"). Most of the pieces have the character name "Chick" handwritten on the interior, and the suit features highly detailed metal, plastic and resin adornments. The backpack is marked "Ballast" and "Harry", suggesting that it belonged to Willis' character. Powered by an elaborate battery system, electronic components are fitted within the helmet, chest and backpack,allowing them to illuminate with multiple LEDs. Demisting fans are housed inside the pack, linking to the helmet to supply the wearer with plenty of air and ventilation while performing on set. The electronics can be powered by a 12V power supply, which is not included in the lot. The costume was intentionally distressed for production, and the gloves remain in a fragile condition. Wonder Woman wore her blue-coloured Grecian-style dress when she entered the gala, and the dress eventually fell away to reveal her armour, as she rode away from the event on a horse. This design was created by Academy Award®-winning costume designer Lindy Hemming. It comprises a front and rear view of the costume, with the latter showing Wonder Woman's sword tucked into the back of her dress. The artwork is rendered in watercolour, coloured pencil and pencil, and features detailed annotations. Hemming has signed it on the right side, and the production title and actress' name are written along the top. Displaying minimal wear, the lot is accompanied by a handwritten letter of authenticity from Hemming. It features an ornate high neckband, black chiffon sleeves decorated with a silver-striped pattern, and champagne coloured mesh sections emulating cut-outs down the arms. There are two zips down the back, and a supportive bodysuit is sewn within the garment. The dress is made of purple organza with a pink taffeta underlayer and cotton lining on the bust and sleeves. Ornate faux-gold embroidered patterns decorate the garment and three hook-and-eye fastenings are attached at the bust. A Bermans & Nathans costumier's label is located inside and reads "Caroline Seaward, 19058, Octopussy".
