A rare Third Reich TENO (Technische Nothilfe) Leaders dagger by Carl Eickhorn, excellent example of the rare dress dagger for the German Technical Organisation "TENO", dagger having the correct cogged disc pommel, thick amber coloured celluloid grip, crossguard with eagle and swastika with Teno insignia to centre, the 11in. (27.9cm.) plain double edged blade with original leather blade buffer in place, marked to one side with Carl Eickhorn maker's mark with 'Original' above and Teno eagle with "GES GESCH", the other with serial number 2123, matching with serial number on the original pebbled scabbard that has most of it's original blackened finish, tied to the grip is an original Officer's pattern portepee. scarce
