A GREAT WAR M.I.D. TRIO OF MEDALS TO CAPTAIN R.H. ASTBURY, ROYAL WARWICKSHIRE REGIMENT comprising the 1914-15 Star (Lieut. R. H. Astbury. R. War. R.), British War Medal 1914-20 and Victory Medal, lacking 'Mention in Despatches' spray of oak leaves but with associated pin-holes (both Capt. R.H. Astbury), officially impressed, bar mounted for wearing; together with a near corresponding group of dress miniatures, with 1914 Star and oak leaves to Victory Medal, bar mounted for wearing; also official certificates showing that Lieut. / Capt. Astbury was mentioned in despatches twice, namely by Field Marshal Sir John French, 30th November 1915; and General Sir E.H.H. Allenby, 23rd October 1918.
