Post 1953 Court Dress Sword 32 inch, double edged, narrow blade. Fine etched scroll foliage panels and crowned ERII cypher. The forte with maker "Wilkinson Sword London". Gilt brass, downturn shell guard with ball edge decoration. Gilt brass crossguard, knuckle bow, pommel and square form grip, all with similar decoration. Contained in its leather scabbard with gilt brass mounts. Complete with gilt braid and wire sword knot. Contained in its velvet lined, composite transit case. Clean condition. English School (19th century), Naive half length portrait of a lady seated wearing a red dress and holding a fan, Oil on artist board, 22.5cm x 18cm, Framed CONDITION REPORT:The paint surface is dirty and would benefit from cleaning, but does not appear to show any visible damage beyond the odd fine surface scratch. UV inspection reveals no evidence of restoration. The frame appears to be sturdy, but shows wear to the gilt finish throughout.
Two Royal Dux Art Deco figures, one modelled as a flapper girl, incised 3044 and pink triangle mark to base, 32.5cm high, the other as a curtseying dancer, incised 2984 and pink triangle mark to base, 32cm high (at fault), each with cobalt blue dress with gilt highlights throughout (2) CONDITION REPORT:The flapper girl shows rubbing to the gilt highlights throughout, particularly to the crazy paving floor design, the front of the dress and the toes of the shoes. The curtseying dancer shows rubbing to the gilt highlights throughout. There is evidence of restoration to the base and the feet of the figure.
An Art Deco decanter by Robj, early 20th century, modelled as a Spanish lady in yellow hooped dress, with a basket of oranges upon hear head forming the stopper, printed maker's mark to base, 29cm high, with a similar example in a white dress, 29cm high (2) CONDITION REPORT:The yellow figure appears to be in good overall condition, showing minor wear and rubbing to the gilt highlights (most noticeable to the gilt at the back of the hair), but no chips, cracks or losses. The cork stopper may have been re-glued into place, and there is wear and some residue around the cork. The figure also shows some small glazing faults to the dress bodice. The white figure shows more extensive rubbing to the gilt and some build ups of dirt throughout.
