Born Catherine Marguerite Marie-Therese Baheux in Calais, Department du Pas-de-Calais, Nord-Pas-de-Calais, France. Known for having supplied over a thousand garments for Diana, Princess of Wales, was notably buried in a famed black dress designed by Walker which was worn for the private Papal audience with Pope John Paul II at the Apostolic Palace on 29 April 1985. A late 19th century Continental risqué pottery dish, one side depicting a lady disrobing, the reverse showing her bare derrière, 18.5 x 12.5cm, together with various ceramic figures of girls and ladies, comprising Royal Doulton HN2476 'Mandy', HN1680 'Tootles', HN1811 'Bo Peep' and HN2338 'Penny', a Royal Worcester figure 'Grandmother's Dress' 3081, and three Lladró figures, two of ladies with animals and one of an angel standing over a cherub (9).Condition Report: - The risqué dish is rubbed to her nose, chin and areas of her hair, with loss of glaze. Some discolouration to the glaze on the underside.
