A mid 19th century continental officer’s dress sword, plain DE blade with rounded tip, 30”, brass hilt with turn down shell guard, crossguard with stud quillon, flattened knucklebow, plain urn pommel with rounded top, swollen fishskin grip, in its darkened steel scabbard with brass chape and locket with frog hook. Basically GC (some wear and light rust pitting)
An Indian silver figure of a female sitar player, unmarked, 20th century, in traditional costume, with pendant earrings, bells and wirework bangles, a turquoise bindi on her forehead, on pedestal base applied with vignettes of winged musicians, 32 cm. high, wt. 529 gm. Good overall condition, some clumsy silver solder appears around some of the motifs applied to her dress which is in the making.
