An impressive hand decorated 19th century porcelain tray marked Vienna and bearing beehive stamp in a gilt and gesso frame having decorated plaque roundals signed Fruhlingsreigen 'A Song of Spring' painted with maidens in summer dress. Signed Johner. Tray dimensions 57cm x 44cm (without frame) tray and panels in good condition without aparant damage or repair, the giltwood and gesso frame with losses to the gesso mouldings and cracks to each.
This is a 5¢ Genco horoscope fortune teller. Fortune teller comes to life to read your fortune or your zodiac sign. Speak into the vibraphone and ask the fortune teller yes or no questions or turn the knob to the zodiac sign of your choice. There is some minimal wear on the cabinet as well as some flaking on the back glass. The interior is original and very clean, with a great overall look and only some very slight wear marks on the fortune teller's dress. The plastic top piece is in exceptional condition overall, with only one small area of repair on the very top right-hand corner not visible from the front view.
