Nicholas Lechmere - attire in the style of Charles Edward Stewart. Overall fine cracquelure to the surface which is dirty and marks of stretchers showing through. Early frame. Paper labels on reverse are incomplete. Not relined. Martha Lechmere - Lely-esque style. In contemporary frame. Relined. Bearing a modern paper label inscribed 'Martha Scudamore who married Nicholas Lechmere'
