*****RE-OFFER £20 - £30******* Four vintage items to include a black crepe column dress, late 50s/ early 60s, a silky rayon velvet kaftan dress with colourful embroidery, a 1960s sequinned, knitted top, made in Hong kong (size 40), a 1980s dress with stripes and flowers by Carre (4) kaftan sleeves have been opened at the seams, and one of them has a tear at the edge of this opening. Carre dress would benefit from a wash and there is a tiny graze on the chest.
Three 1960s dresses to include a turquoise crepe chiffon and lame brocade evening gown by Kati at Laura Phillips, a 1960s maxi dress with a bold, blue floral print by Horrockses (size 12) and an Emma Domb of California evening dress with high neck and a vibrant cerise pink taffeta skirt with cummerbund (3)All in good generally good condition. horrockses has a couple of small marks and a missing button (fabric is washable), emma domb has some colour transfer
four antique babies' items to include a late 19th or early 20th century christening cape in a fine cream wool cloth with soutache and a hand knotted silk floss fringe, along with a late regency or early Victorian dress in cotton with a block print leaf design in purple. This is hand stitched, and finished with inserts of cutwork edged with buttonhole stitch and padded satin stitch, an early 20th century Carrickmacross needle run lace lace bonnet and a late 10s or early 1920s tabard, made from pieces of fine net, whitework embroidery, a needle run lace and a valenciennes style lace stitched together. the cape has some minor moth damage and a raw edge to the larger of the double collar.the dress has a couple of tears and a patch beneath a small hole.
1940s/ early 50s clothing to include a fleck suit with dress and jacket, the dress being fitted with a straight skirt, and the jacket having a tightly nipped waist, a princess coat with beaver lamb collar, a rayon tea dress, a tailored black suit (skirt 28 inch waist), and a black and grey fine check suit with strong shoulders and tapered waist (skirt 27 inch waist). (5)the fleck suit is in good condition, the bodice to the dress is part lined and the lining underarms are stained, this doesn't show through to the other side. the black suit is in good condition, it has recently been cleaned and just needs a brush downthe tea dress has some open seamsthe coat has a seam pop at the waist, it would benefit from a clean, there are some light moth grazes and an l shaped stitched repair. presents well.

1920s and 30s chiffon dresses to include a crepe chiffon evening gown in lavender with matching bolero, a drop waist floral chiffon tea dress and another with a handkerchief hem. (3)The floral chiffon dresses both have repairs and patches, the handkerchief hem dress is lined, but the lining is damaged. The lavender gown has a split below the snaps at the side, and discoloration over the shoulders of the bolero with a couple of little holes. There are some repairs to the skirt, which aren't at all obvious as they get lost in the folds.
A chocolate brown, late 1910s dress in the style of a tabard and under-dress, with copper glass bead appliques, and another in black silk with tulle and chiffon tiers and an integral waistcoat, plus a waistcoat of a similar age with French jet beading (3)The black dress is in pretty good shapeThe brown dress has damage to the central panel of lining silk down the front and back of the bodice (on the inside), there is a little weakness around some of the snaps and a portion of the hem is down. the waistcoat has some loose beading (beads still hanging on strands), and some of the fagotted seams are open (see photos)

A 1980s snakeskin effect dress with zip neck and sash belt by Peter & Jo, a 1980s two piece consisting of black cigarette trousers and a snakeskin effect top with huge shoulder pads and a studded bib, and a grey chiffon blouse with beads and crystals on the shoulders by wallis (size12). a 1980s snakeskin print coat with padded shoulders and a caped back with Ibiza label (ibiza was a Birmingham based boutique in the Palisades), and a wide black leather belt. (5)generally good condition, the snakeskin sweater has a tear in the fabric beneath the bib where the stitching has pulled out. minor age appropriate wear as would be expected from use.
A group of quality 1980s dresses to include a very early 80s red and black shirt dress with waist tie, a glamorous 1980s Frank Usher cocktail dress with batwing sleeves, and asymmetric peplum and a sequinned motif on the blue crinkle crepe, a blue double breasted coat dress with detachable white cotton collar and cuffs, plus a long, faux lynx coat and a blue wallis blouse.(all aprox size 12), a Lacoste belt (6)Belts have some marks, there is some very minor colour variation on the frank usher
Three quality 1970s designs to include a 1970s evening dress with kimono style jacket by Indigo. This was purchased to wear to an Aston Villa event and cost £180 in 1978 (about £930 today!), also a late 1970s Frank Usher two piece in a mauve jersey and a silver grey Louis Feraud blouse with a sash that can be worn around the neck or waist, late 70s. (3)blouse missing top button and buttons at wrist on one sleeve, make up mark by top button and around the inside of the neck. There are some light (spillage?) marks on the kimono jacket, mostly on the sleeveNot sure if the frank usher dress should be elasticated at the drop waist, or if it was simply rouched along the drop waist line (the elastic is easy to replace if it has perished, but whatever in there does feel quite strong), there are two tiny white specks on the dress at the front, and a mark on the back of the jacket (washable).
A 1960s Russian style princess coat with faux fur trim and hood and a matching dress, plus a 1970s gaucho jumpsuit in crushed emerald velvet by Mr Darren, a 1970s Radley sundress in a floral cotton and a late 60s dress by Quad in a silver and brown lurex. (4)The dress to go with the coat has some moth damage, i found a pinhead sixed nibble on the coat, but its generally great.The sundress is missing one of the ties at the neck (the remaining tie has been pinned around the neck for the purpose of keeping the dress up for the photograph as it is too big for the mannequin)the jumpsuit has a couple of hard to find yellowed marks. Its a great piece.

Mont Blanc: Patron of Art limited edition fountain pen, Pope Julius II, 1757/4810. It pays tribute to the most influential clerical patrons of the arts who transformed Rome into the cultural centre of Renaissance. Commissioning the Frescoes of the Sistine Chapel and Church of St. Peter, cream coloured lacquer and 18c gold plated with lattice design that recalls the colours of the Papal dress. The cap symbolises the Pontifex Maximus Tiara, 18ct gold engraved with the Coat of Arms of Julius II. Piston loading system, the pen is new and unused in original box and outer sleeve.
