Great design featuring a detailed route map of the main routes of associated companies around the world in the centre and a man in traditional Pacific Island dress standing on a canoe boat in front of palm trees between the text below, the black and white images set within a green border with the USSCo Union Jack flag inside a rope circle logo above and the PO House London address below. Union Line was incorporated in 1875 in Dunedin New Zealand; by 1914 the company was the biggest shipping line in the southern hemisphere and New Zealand's largest private-sector employer; in 1917 it was bought by the British shipping company P O. The Illinois Central Railroad (aka the Main Line of Mid-America) operated train services from 1851-1998 from New Orleans and Mobile to Chicago with branches to Omaha and Sioux City; in 1998 it was acquired by the Canadian National Railway. The first Steamboat Natchez was built in 1823; the current Natchez is the ninth steamboat of the same name built in 1975 operating services on the Mississippi River. Unter dem Rock befindet sich das Grammophon. 78 Umdrehungen pro Minute, Federwerkmotor, ein zweiter Federwerkmotor mit vier Nocken für die automatischen Bewegungen, doppelter Kettenantrieb und zwei Exzenterräder für die Gehbewegungen, mit handschriftlicher Gebrauchsanweisung, Höhe 84 cm, mit beiden Kurbeln, Perücke nicht ab­genommen, funktionstüchtiger Zustand. - Ein bemerkenswerter audiovisueller Automat von einem bisher nicht dokumentierten Hersteller. The piece was evidently a small-scale production, possibly unique, using commercial components ingeniously combined together. - The figure rolls forwards while turning her head, raising flowers in her right hand and lifting and twisting her left arm.
