WW1 British Royal Engineers Staff Colonels Uniform, consisting of four pocket service dress tunic with regimental tunic buttons. Gorget collar patches and rank insignia to the shoulder straps. Above breast pocket is medal ribbon bar for the Military Cross and 1914-15 star. Single bullion wound stripe to one sleeve and four years overseas service chevrons to the other. Attached to the arm is staff officers wool armband. Interior of the tunic with lower shell dressing pocket. Collar with tailors label having inked name of the original owner, but this is not clear. Tunic is accompanied by his original staff colonels peaked cap with bullion wire to the peak, bullion embroidered cap insignia, thin patent chinstrap and gilt metal side buttons. Cap is complete with the original khaki cloth cover. Interior with tan leather sweatband and crimson cloth lining. Some mothing to the central band. Also comes with officers Sam Browne belt and cross strap.
Third Reich SS (Schutzstaffel) Enlisted Mans Dress Dagger by Boker, Solingen, fine untouched example of a 33 pattern SS enlisted mans dress dagger with ebony grip having nickel silver eagle and enamel SS runes insignia. Exterior fittings all with matching patina. Lower cross guard stamped ‘I’. Housed in its original scabbard with single hanging ring. Some dents to the lower scabbard mount. Fine condition double edged blade with much of the original blacking to the motto ‘Meine Ehre heist Treue’. Reverse of the blade has the makers trademark. The blade measures 22cms, overall 37cms. Overall a good untouched example of a desirable dagger by a desirable maker.
Imperial Russian Dress Peaked Cap of the Life Guard Regiment Volhynianski, green wool peaked cap with yellow piping to the crown and bordering central band. Complete with oval cockade insignia with painted centre. Leather chinstrap with brass Russian double headed eagle side buttons. Small black patent peak. Interior with sweatband and cloth lining. The colourings of this cap seem to match that of the Life Guard Regiment Volhynianski.
