Five Pedigree Sindy dolls: Nurse Sindy in original outfit, cape, apron and dress (VG+ with a couple of faint marks to forehead, no missing hair plugs and outfit very clean); 2 x Active Sindy, both in original outfits, one with clean outfit, slight yellowing to neck and a couple of missing hair plugs, `2 GEN 1077 033055X` to head (G), the other in slightly grubby outfit missing shoes, and one hand missing, `033055X` to head (F); two others, heads marked `2 GEN 1077 033055X` in clean original outfits, one with several missing hair plugs (G). Together with a Sindy styling head marked `033055X` with a selection of `make-up`, a comb, brush and mirror (G). (6)
Two Fairylite (Hong Kong) Gerry Anderson`s Thunderbirds dolls, c.1960`s: Lady Penelope vinyl doll, in shift dress, knickers and boots, h.27.5cm (G+, some marks to arms and discolouration of body, some hair plugs missing to back of head, in F box missing two end flaps), with two additional outfits (G). Together with Fairylite Parker vinyl doll in brown chauffeur`s coat with 8 buttons, white vest, brown and grey striped trousers, brown shoes, chauffeur`s hat (G/VG, unboxed).
Two Palitoy Pippa dolls: Tammie, with auburn hair and jointed knees (some white around joints), overall G/VG with one visible missing hair plug; Penny Brown with brown curly hair and jointed knees, VG. Both wear original outfits, with one additional dress. Together with a Palitoy Pippa horse with saddle and tack (F, plastic coming apart along split). (3)

She bore him eight children. Upon his death in 1723, she married Alexander Fraser, 7th Baron of Strichen, in September 1731. Provenance: Lt. Col. Ernest Henry Dene Stracey (1871-1948), by whose executors sold, Christies London, June 25th 1948, bought for 10 gns by Wiggins (as Kneller). Subsequently sold by the Reynolds Gallery, Barbican, Plymouth in 1980 as the former property of The Hon. Frances Bowes-Lyon. Provenance: By descent in the family of the sitter`s sister, Jemima Chisholm-Batten (1817-1883). A pair of Japanese hollow cast bronze Nio guardians, Agyo and Ungyo, 19th century, each shown bare chested and wearing traditional dress, standing posed, Agyo with open mouth and Ungyo with closed mouth, on rocky plinths, (at fault) 45cm high (2) In Japan, these figures were also called Shitsukongo-shin or Shukongo-shin and represent Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, birth and death. In legend they were used to protect entrance gates to temples. The most famous Nio guardian in Japan can be found at the entranced gate of Todaiji temple in Nara.
