Some small holes in skirt. Embroidery has small amount of fraying. Metal zip down back. Bodice lined. label says BLANES size E.Measurements taken when dress flat: 116cm long, waist 29cm, bust 37cm, hips loose. measurements are approximate.

Samuel Lipchytz (1880-1943). A bronze of a female dancer standing on one foot, the other extended, her gilt body with loose green patinated dress. Signed in the cast on the hem of the dress "S Lipchytz". Mounted on a shaped tapering square green granite base. Light wear to the gilding and the upstand folds of the dress, no chips, nicks or dents. noted. Ht. figure 32cm., overall 42cm.
Van Cleef & Arpels, an Art Deco sapphire and diamond dress ring, circa 1940, the rectangular bezel rub over set to the centre with an oval cut sapphire (approx. 1.92 carats), to single cut set hooked shoulders, signed to the inner shank 'VAN CLEEF & ARPELS' and numbered 'C.S.V 16017', French poincon and marker's cartouche to outer shank, finger size L/M, 12.2gms CONDITION: the sapphire appears dark in tone through the crown, and there is a small feather that reaches the pavilion surface to the side of the stone, the diamonds are bright and lively without damage or loss. The shank is solid and marks are clear.

A diamond and crackled pink quartz dress ring, the oval quartz cabochon 19 x 10mm, in a stylised leaf surround, each frond studded with small old mine cuts, to a yellow shank (tests 9 carat gold), finger size H/I, 7.9gms CONDITION: the piece has been converted from a brooch to a ring, no losses to diamonds.
A German silver double-lidded pill box, rectangular with tapering sides by Simon Rosenau of Bad Kissingen, circa 1890, with fixed central handle, cover and sides chased with playful putti, 6 cm. long; a similar Dutch box, with English import marks for London, 1891, chased with courting couples, putti and figures in 18th century dress, ropework swing handle, 6.2 cm. long; and another similar Dutch box, hexagonal, 1903, with English import marks for London, 1903, chased with playful putti to sides and figures, masks, fruit swags and scrolls to cover, 6 cm. long. wt. 158 gm.Good condition.
A French Art Deco 18 carat gold and diamond dress ring, set to the centre with a platinum panel hosting a old cut brilliant (approx. 0.82 carat) to one side, nine pave set brilliants to the other, above a stepped oblong bezel, the outer shank stamped with French poincons, finger size F/G, 10.1gms CONDITION: lovely larger stone - although dusted with small mineral inclusions, it has a great glint and fire. No other issues noted.

A mixed bronze group comprising: a tribract pendant with central loop; a dress pin fragment with bird finial; a dress pin with addorsed bird-heads; a hinged lid with hollow-formed bird head; a dolphin mount; a horse-shaped brooch; a ring with opposed beast-heads. A mixed bronze group comprising: a heater-shaped plaque with crowned lion rampant on a hatched field, shield to the chest; a plaque with low-relief horned animal foraging; an annular brooch with ribbed leaf to the pin, triangular beast-head knop. A silver dress pin with tapering shank, spiral band to the upper section with 'X' and 'O' motifs; the finial a youthful female bust with the hair dressed in a chignon, hollow to the rear and shoulders. 24 grams, 13cm (5"). From an old European collection; acquired in Munich in the 1970s. Very fine condition.
18th century AD. A silver parcel-gilt finger ring, the hoop D-shaped in section formed as two reclining lovers kissing, the female wearing a Corinthian-type helmet and draped peplos dress, right arm laid along the hip and right arm bent to hold the hand of the male lying prone, nude with wings folded to his back. See Chadour, A.B. Rings. The Alice and Louis Koch Collection, volume I, Leeds, 1994 p.262-3 for similar examples of figures modelled in high relief. 8.99 grams, 26mm overall, 17.77mm internal diameter (approximate size British O 1/2 USA 7 1/2 Europe 15.76 Japan 15) (1"). From a home counties collection; formed 1970-1980. Fine condition. A large wearable size.
350 AD. Siscia mint. Obv: DN VETRANIO PF AVG legend with laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right. Rev: VIRTVS AVGVSTORVM legend with emperor in military dress, standing right, holding transverse spear and globe and spurning a captive sitting at foot right; mintmark ASIS in exergue. A flat-section bronze annular brooch with flat pin coiled through a slot, ropework borders, the text reads VEVMBRDONV a garbled version of WERbVM dO[Ï•]NI MAN, an abbreviated form of what would later become the motto of the Lutheran Reformation (when it is frequently reduced to the initials VDMA), Isaiah 40viii: 'Verbum Domini manet in Aeternum' which translates to 'the Word of the Lord endures for eternity'.
