Prussian Royal Castle Guard ‘Gala Rock’, extremely rare full dress long tunic in the style of Frederick the Great’s Grenadiers worn by the elite Prussian Royal Guard at the Kaiser’s Palace in Berlin. Dark blue cloth with extensive woven white ribbon piping; red collar and cuffs, with Feldwebel’s tresse; loops for a long medal group on chest; large plain nickel buttons; white shoulder straps with metal monogram insignia, one ‘FW’ monogram missing; original owner’s Royal Guard number, 0106, and his name ‘Karl Wiegert’ stamped on white cotton lining. Very good condition. Together with 4 original period coloured prints showing these tunics as worn by the Guard.
George V 1845 Pattern Irish Guards Officers Sword by Wilkinson No. 60572 (unclear), regulation nickel plated hilt with dress knot, wire bound fish skin covered grip, blade etched with battle honours to Hazebrouck, Hindenberg Line, with owners crest and initials THC (?), in its nickel plated scabbard. Good condition. Overall 101cms, blade 82cms.
WW2 German Kriegsmarine Officers Dress Dagger by Carl Eickhorn, fine example of the standard pattern naval officers dress dagger. Gilt eagle and swastika top pommel, white celluloid grip with wire binding, gilt cross guard with fouled anchors to the centre and press button to the reverse. Complete with the original gilt scabbard with two hanging rings. Partially double edged blade with etched panels of fouled anchor and foliage. Eickhorn trade mark to the base of the blade. Much of the original finish remains to the blade. The blade measures 25cms, overall 42cms. Very good example.
Victorian Royal Artillery Officers Full Dress Pouch, fine bullion embroidered Royal Arms with gilt metal artillery field piece, bullion embroidered motto on three part velvet backed scroll and bullion laurel wreath. All mounted onto a blue cloth covered black leather flap pouch with gilt braid to the edge. Gilt metal side attachments. Some areas of mothing to the cloth but overall a good example
Third Reich Model 1933 SS Enlisted Mans Dress Dagger by Herder, black ebony grip retaining eagle and enamel SS runes devices. Lower guard crudely engraved to the reverse with the number “495892”. Housed in its original scabbard with both mounts and short pattern leather hanger. The blade etched with motto “Meine Ehre heist Treue” and remains in very good condition with much of the original polish. Reverse of the blade has the makers trade mark. The blade measures 22cms, overall 37 ¾ cms. Some wear to the exterior with a small chip to the grip near the enamel runes.
Post 1902 Royal Artillery Field Officers Dress Cap, dark blue body with central red band and piping. Peak with thick gilt wire braid. Patent chinstrap with brass regimental side buttons. Detached Royal Artillery officers gilt cap badge. Interior with the original sweatband and London tailors label to the interior. Accompanied by a similar period dress cap with Devonshire regiment cap badge to the centre. (2 items)

Uniform removed example.
53rd (Welch) Division 160th Infantry Brigade 2nd Battalion Monmouthshire Regiment Battle Dress Combination Insignia, fine example being printed regimental shoulder title above one piece felt embroidered regimental formation sign, three felt brigade bars and felt regimental coloured arm of service stripe. All mounted onto battle dress cloth panel. Uniform removed example.
German Artillery / Enlisted Mans Dress Sword, being a dove head pattern example with fish skin covered grip retaining the original wire binding. Housed in its steel scabbard with fixed hanging ring. Curved un-marked blade with fuller to the back edge. Sword blade 84cms, overall 98 ½ cms. The langets have been engraved with SS runes and SS divisional sign in post war years, also a reproduction SS sword knot has been added for effect.
Victorian 8th Kings Royal Irish Light Dragoons Hussars Officers Full Dress Pouch 1837-55, superb example which remains in uncleaned condition. The leather backed red cloth pouch has heavy bullion wire lion over crowned VR cipher with winged harp to the centre, enclosed in a shamrock wreath and two part scroll with regimental details. Fine gilt metal side fittings with ring attachments. Nice patina to the bullion wire work.
WW2 Lincolnshire Regiment British Officers Service Dress Full Uniform Attributed to Captain John Walter Womersley, Killed in Action on 14th November 1944 Serving with the 6th Battalion, Son of the Rt Hon Sir Walter James Womersley 1st Bt P.C Minister for Pensions During WW2, fine four pocket example with brass regimental tunic buttons. Officers bronze regimental collar badges and brass rank pips to the shoulders. Africa star medal ribbon to the breast pocket. Interior with standard lining. Inside pocket with tailors label having inked name and date “Nov 1940”; Officers standard service dress khaki trousers and officers private purchase beret with bronze officers cap badge. Cloth lining to the interior with tailors details of Bryants Grimsby. Captain John Walter Womersley was from Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire. He was killed in action serving with the 6th Battalion Lincolnshire regiment on 14th November 1944, aged 25. He is remembered with honour at Meldola War Cemetery, Italy. The 6th Battalion Lincolnshire regiment was involved in much of the heavy fighting during the Italian campaign, they were earlier in 1944 withdrawn back to Egypt due to heavy casualties, only to return to the Italian campaign and again see much of the heavy fighting against the heavily defended German enforcements in Northern Italy. His father was a well known figure in the city of Grimsby, becoming Mayor in 1922. A member of the conservative party he was elected for parliament in 1924. In 1939 he was appointed as Minister of Pensions, he was the only minister to hold his position throughout the length of WW2. He lost his seat in the 1945 general election, he is to date he remains the last conservative MP for the constituency of Grimsby.
Victorian 7th Queens Own Hussars Officers Full Dress Pouch, bullion embroidered crowned cipher and bullion wire leaves decoration mounted onto a universal pattern red felt covered dress pouch. Gilt metal fixing posts to the side of the pouch. Bullion remains fresh but some areas of moth to the scarlet cloth.
Luftwaffe 2nd Pattern Officers Dress Dagger by WMW Waffen, dagger with orange celluloid grip having the original wire binding, however this has become loose in places. Small section of the grip missing to the bottom at the reverse. Top pommel with swastika to both sides. Cross guard in the form of eagle in flight clutching swastika in its talons. Housed in its original scabbard with two hanging rings. Plain double edged blade retaining much of the cross grain finish. Blade stamped with WMW Waffen trade mark to the base. Blade measures 23cms, overall 42 ½ cms.
1943 Royal Army Service Corps Airborne Battle Dress, fine example of a 1940 pattern battle dress blouse complete with embroidered regimental shoulder titles, printed 6th Airborne division printed Pegasus formation signs and sergeants rank chevrons. One arm has 5 red service chevrons. The blouse has Bairstow Sons & Co Ltd size label with clear 1943 date. Battle dress remains in very good overall condition.
Scarce Early Victorian Earl of Chester’s Hussars Officers Full Dress Sabretache, fine black velvet faced sabretache with thick silver wire braid border, bullion and velvet cloth Victorian crown above Prince of Wales plumes, three part velvet scroll below with bullion wire “EARL OF CHESTER’S YEOMANRY”. Three white metal D ring fittings to the top. Black leather backing, complete with pouch which has the paper label of Hawkes Moseley. Remains in generally very good overall condition.

Mostly embroidered on khaki versions but one printed example and one embroidered on black cloth backing. (10 items)

Bullion embroidered mess dress style paratrooper wings fitted to the side to act as a cap badge. Cloth sweatband and standard lining to the interior. Good worn example.
Personalised 1936 Pattern SS Officers Chained Dress Dagger, fine example of the model 1936 pattern dress dagger having type II chains. Black ebony grip with eagle and enamelled SS runes fitted. Nickel silver cross guard and top mount. Officers dress knot / portopee attached to the grip. Dagger is complete with the original scabbard having much of the anodised finish remaining, swastika central fitting and plain top and lower fittings. Type 2 linked hanging chains with runes and deaths head links. Reverse of the chains stamped with SS runes acceptance stamp. The top fitting is engraved with the initials of the original officer “G S”. Correct pattern officers blade without trade mark. Blade etched with motto “Meine Ehre heist Treue”. Some light surface staining to the blade but generally still good condition. Blade measures 22cms, overall 36 ½ cms.
Luftwaffe 2nd Pattern Officers Dress Dagger with Engraved Blade, fine example of an orange handled Luftwaffe 2nd pattern dress dagger with the top pommel retaining much of the gilt wash finish to the central swastika on both sides. Orange celluloid grip retaining the wire. Luftwaffe pattern cross guard with attached officers dress knot / portopee. Housed in the original scabbard with two hanging rings. Blade is etched with foliage and early droop tail pattern eagle to the obverse and the reverse etched with foliage, but the presentation panel has been scratched out, common practice for German families after the war who did not want the family name associated with the Third Reich. Blade has no makers trade mark. The blade measures 25cms, overall 42 ½ cms.

Housed in its original brass hammered scabbard with two hanging rings. Partial double edged blade etched with foliage and fire fighters symbols etc. Makers mark to the base of the blade. Some light areas of surface staining. Blade measures 24cms, overall 40 ½ cms.
