Two early 20th Century Chinese Damask pleated skirts Two early 20th Century Chinese Damask pleated skirts, one green with botanical embroidered decoration of flowers and butterflies with two beaded embroidery panels. The second skirt is multicoloured with a pink ribbon border, with two panels of mythological tableaus on a blue silk ground.Green dress has a few holes that have been repaired/darned (photographed). Embroidery on the whole is in good condition with a few loose threads. The multicoloured skirt is in better condition, a couple of small stains and some loose threads in the two decorative pictorial panels.

A childrens costume based on an early portrait of Elizabeth I, when she was a girl, the dress is in brown brocade, edged in gold, beaded in a lattice design, amber stones are stitched onto the lattice work and gold beads decorate the edging, the bell sleeves are lined faux fur and the inserts are of dark peach (detachable) undersleeves, the hemline is also decorated in the same bead work, the dress has a shift cotton garment, then a three layered petticoat, a hooped farthingale bum role, and a deep peach kirkle which is decorated with pearls and frills under the centre of the dress, and a ruffle; the headdress is a French hood in deep peach
