A 1940s synthetic ruby and diamond Odeonesque dress ring, the central domed panel with a row of brilliant cut diamonds between two rows of step cut synthetic rubies, to rose cut diamond panels, approximately 0.60 carats total, finger size M 1/2, 7g gross Condition Report: There is some wear to the setting commensurate with age and use, some repairs, one of the rubies has worn through the setting on one corner, there is a chip to that rubies corner, the other rubies have abrasion to the crown facets, a couple of the rubies are slightly twisted in the channel settings, there have been two rose cut diamonds replaced with old cut diamonds. A jadeite and gold coloured dress ring, the oval cabochon jadeite panel within a petal like surround with lightly hammered finish, to bifurcated shoulders, finger size P, 18.3g gross Condition Report: The jade has a crack to the bottom of the panel, the stone is still in one piece, it doesn't quite go all the way through, there is some wear to the ring commensurate with use, some scratches and dinks to the shank, the setting is quite heavy and solid, the bifurcated shoulders aren't attached to the back of the panel, one side has a slight gap- this appears to be from construction.
