An Indian wooden Buddhistic head/temple guardian, early 19th century polychromed wooden Buddhistic head modelled with teeth exposed, head dress and large disc earrings. Provenance: From an old Hampshire collection; acquired before 1980. The artefact in fine condition (some wear) and measures 350mm tall.
Vinyl - David Bowie - The Man Who Sold The World (Mercury 6338041) with dress cover and black & silver labels. Shown as Produced by Tony Visconti on label and sleeve. Matrices / stampers are side one 6338041 1Y1 420 114 side two 6338041 2Y1 420111. Fully textured sleeve is Ex with a small mark to front (possibly pin scratch). Vinyl Ex and appears hardly played with only a few spindle marks present. Overall a fantastic example of this extremely sought after record.

Stauffer & Co - an 18ct gold open faced dress pocket watch, the white dial marked 'Simmons Cheltenham', with black Roman numerals, blued hands and subsidiary seconds register, the crown wind slim movement with Stauffer & Co mark, number 125389, the case by Charles Nicolet, London import hallmarks 1909, number 227009, the signed dustcover also marked 'Swiss made' , the pendant bow part marked Other Notes: Stauffer, Son & Co. was established in Switzerland in 1830 and a London branch, Stauffer & Co, was opened soon after. They became one of the largest importers of Swiss watches in Britain, also importing watches made by Patek Philippe, Jaeger Le Coultre, IWC, Fontainemelon and Eterna. Charles Nicolet, a Swiss horologist, formed a partnership with them between1853 - 1940.
A trio of memento jewels, the first a short brooch composed of twin circular glazed panels containing plaited hair of different colours (perhaps from several children), both within seed pearl borders, length 2.8cm; the second a vertical oval glazed panel over chestnut hair with superimposed gold bow and oval framed ivory cartouche on which is written 'Sacred to Friendship', later brooch pin and clasp, length 2.4cm; the last an oval pendant with a cameo of a girl's head in classical dress, in a ropetwist and Greek key pattern black enamel mount, back with vacant glazed panel, length without suspensory loop 2.5cm (3)
