This is a 5¢ Genco horoscope fortune teller. Fortune teller comes to life to read your fortune or your zodiac sign. Speak into the vibraphone and ask the fortune teller yes or no questions or turn the knob to the zodiac sign of your choice. There is some minimal wear on the cabinet as well as some flaking on the back glass. The interior is original and very clean, with a great overall look and only some very slight wear marks on the fortune teller's dress. The plastic top piece is in exceptional condition overall, with only one small area of repair on the very top right-hand corner not visible from the front view. An Edward VII Silver Rectangular Box and Two Other Silver Boxes, the Edward VII box by Thomas Hayes, Birmingham 1903, the lid embossed with a gallant in 18th Century dress, the sides with figures in an inn, 2.5ins x 1.25ins x 1.25ins, one other Victorian silver rectangular box, Birmingham 1885, and a heart-shaped box, London 1887, combined weight 4.7ozs
A most appealing rectangular wall mirror having an elaborate Walnut frame with a shell pediment and nicely carved scrolling foliage, the frieze within decorated with beautifully worked petit-point needlework with to the top an heraldic shield with lion rampant, the date 1936 the initials W & N, and the words beneath "BY DAND". To the lower perimeter is portrayed a country house on a hillock flanked by broad-leaf trees, fences and Lombardy Poplars whilst the sides depict a Scotsman in a green tartan kilt and a lady in a flowing Crinoline dress whilst stylised flower blooms to the border include Thistles, Hare Bells, Bluebells, Irises and Snowdrops to name but a few. It is considered that this mirror was probably given as a marriage gift to the couple depicted. 33 3/8" high, 22 1/8" wide overall.

FOUR CERAMIC FIGURES TO INCLUDE: two continental figures of man and woman with 'AR' mark to base, together with two Staffordshire biscuit pots in the form of a lady in a crinoline dress and holding a King Charles spaniel, circa 1900, male figure height 31 cm (4) break and repair to hand and nearby area of female figure. Repaired break to left arm and fingers of male figure. Crazing across both biscuit pots with loss to tails of hat on each figure. General wear to enamel and gilt painting.
