McFarlane.), very fine, with dress miniature awards/Note: Lieutenant-Colonel Evan McFarlane lived at Withington House, Andoversford, Gloucestershire. He served on the Western Front with the Gloucestershire Regiment and was commissioned 2nd Lieutenant on 17 March 1915 (6th Bn), temporary Major with the Bn on 14 August 1915 and seconded to the Northumberland Fusiliers on 19 May 1917.
