An 18ct yellow gold diamond and ruby set ring, size Q, approx 3.4g, also a yellow metal garnet set dress ring (af), size P, approx 5g.Additional InformationThe yellow metal dress ring is missing one of the melee garnets to the border with marks and scratches commensurate with age. The ruby and diamond ring has a build-up of dirt, as well as marks and scratches.

A large 18ct textured yellow gold diamond set dress ring with central large orange coloured stone surrounded by six collett set diamonds, size L, approx 14.7g.Additional InformationThe orange stone is very slightly loose in the setting, it is moving a little bit, there are some abrasions to the surface of the stone and some light scratches, also light scratches to the gold itself, but overall ok. We have no comment as to what the central stone might be, its dimensions are approx 14 x 12mm. There are no marks other than 18ct.

The third red dress also has some staining to the front of the dress but otherwise is on good condition. The blue blazer is in good condition but does have some staining to the sleeves and the front. The cream and black skirts are both in very good condition with no signs of wear.

The following six items were kept by the vendor's great aunt for many years in a suitcase and consist of family items, mostly from the early 19th century.A 19th century cream silk and lace blouse with embroidered front panelling and a ruffle neck, a full-length pink satin and embroidered lace tiered skirt, a blue satin lace embroidered short top with long silk lined blue skirt, a cotton linen and pink silk long sleeved dress with an under bodice and a full-length cream silk shirt embellished with very ornate lace detail to the bottom and a train (would have been used under a bustle) (6).Additional InformationAll the dresses have some tears and wear, marks, etc. The first cream blouse has numerous rips along with the long cream skirt. All other pieces have marks and some deterioration overall. The lace in each of the dresses is in a very poor state and in some cases is falling apart due to its age.

A 19th century silver and green silk and satin full-length evening gown with V-shaped wrap over bodice and a full-length sheer silk skirt embellished with large green glass jewels, a silver silk patterned day dress with V front and long sleeves embellished with pink tulle, a cream and light blue silk striped long day dress with ruffled round neckline and sleeves and button front and a heavy silk burgundy red kimono-style dressing gown with embroidered dragons to both front and back (4).Additional InformationThe silver silk and satin gown is in good condition, with just slight staining. The silver patterned gown has significant fading, stains, and deterioration. The blue striped gown has some rips and tears, as does the kimono dressing gown. Relating to the silver and green dress, the silver satin silk bodice is in good condition, as is the seperate long silk underskirt which is lined in a second silver silk. The whole dress is hand stitched and embellished with large green buttons which cover around the neck area and the base of the back which has hooks to enable attachment to another skirt. Overall condition of this dress is good and the silk is not frayed or snagged or pulling and there are no visible holes externally, but the internal bodice does have some pulling of the silk, see photos.

Two 20th century christening gowns, one embroidered with broderie anglaise to the front, and a child's handmade cream silk dress with long sleeves decorated with small bows, and collar, and a contrasting handmade silk cape with embroidered edging, this lot includes a small vintage 'Goddards' silk evening bag with chain handle, the bag contains a small mirror which is intact (4).Additional InformationOne of the christening gowns has a rip along the seam, but otherwise in good condition. The child's cape has two small holes and discolouration and signs of general wear, and the vintage handbag shows signs of general wear and some tarnishing to the gold tone hardware and chain.

S/M (3).Additional InformationThe Fenwick suit is in good condition, with one small mark to the front left, which should dry clean out. The white dress is in excellent overall condition, with no signs of wear and looks unworn. The turquoise dress has some discolouration under the armholes and the base, but otherwise in good condition.
