A part finished patchwork textile reputedly made by Eileen Winifred Petheram. She started at Norman Hartnell straight from leaving Edmonton Technical College. He had work/showrooms in Bruton Street, London, W1, she was there approximately 1956-1963 under Miss Violet one of the seniors. One of Eileen's fellow colleagues left to work for Royal household. Eileen worked a lot of the embroidery on The Queens "Maple Leaf" dress worn on State Visit to Canada. The Queen visited Hartnell's whilst Eileen was there and they were all allowed a quick peep through the curtains. She was working from 8.30am Mon - Sat £2 plus on starting rising to £3 plus on leaving

Loving Stitches - A artist made Marilyn Monroe bear by Margaret Jackson for Loving Stitches. This golden plush bear stands approximately 42 cm tall and features a stitched nose, movable mouth and has a makers label on her back.
