Three 1950s dresses in navy blue to include one wiggle dress with horizontal pin tucks and velvet trim, one halter neck sundress with wriggle-work flock design, and one fit and flare with integral net petticoat. (3)All in clean and wearable condition, the halter-neck has some smudging of the flock in areas, the fit and flare has been taken in at the waist (hand stitching) and there are a few tiny holes upon inspection. An 1870s dress in a duck egg silk, the buttons covered in a net of teal floss (grubby, holes around bottom at the back, possible waist alteration), an 1890s wrapper made from black silk with a quilted lining and shiffli lace trim (a/f, lining has shattered, tear to front), a Victorian skirt apron (?), one pair of sleeves from an 1870s bodice and a single brown silk sleeve (qty)
1940s dresses (32-34 inch waist) to include a novelty print dress with tree print in pink and green with 'Future Maid' label, a red late 1940s moire dress with large white buttons, a teal green dress with heavily padded shoulders, silk appliques and beading and a grey silk formal or dinner dress with lace, 'Styled by Andora, New York' .(4).Novelty print dress has repairs to underarm seams, bottom button is missing and there is a tear at the button above from over striding,very small holes below collar on upper back, grey dress has subtle lines of discolouration, teal has fade lines on shoulders and down side, red has ghost stitching at the front waist, a seam separation in a pleat, small holes underarm.
A 1930s dress with jacket in plum silk. This has great deco seaming and the jacket has a wonderful swing back, a 30s floral tea dress in a floaty voile, a crochet cardigan or bed jacket, very high waisted and wide legged 1930s reproduction trousers. (4)The floral dress has some messy hand stitching at the side seam,The plum set has some damage around the hem at the back of the neck on the dress, and some pinholes.There are a few small breaks/ tears in the crochet and the ribbon tie has broken.
1930s evening gown with exquisite beading in turquoise and white on tomato red rayon crepe, with gold bullion embroidery, a house coat or maxi dress with embroidered detail, red evening gown and a hooded jacket with red lining, a black voile evening gown with red and green print (5)the black evening own with beading needs underarm repairs, there's what looks like deodorant marks on the bodice at the front and the red silk lining to the beaded boarder at the hem has shattered. The voile gown has some tailor tacking to the peplum that wraps around the front (looks like someone started repairing and got bored), the integral bolero has a raw hem, but the splits up the back are a design feature, not open seams. There is some seam stress and some patched repairs. The red dress is in good condition, as is the jacket. The house dress shows wear. there is a small hole at the front on the skirt, and some pinholes at the back.
Edwardian clothing to include a blue wool walking skirt with braid trim, a silk blouse with lace trim, a black cotton blouse, a black lace bodice (perhaps taken from a dress), a white cutwork blouse with pin tucks and clever button fastening to form a pigeon chest, a white, long sleeved bodice (possibly from a dress) and a white cotton cami or corset cover that looks to have been the bodice of an all in one slip (qty)The skirt has holes and the waistband has had elastic stitched behind it. The black cotton (or cotton silk blend) blouse has an uneven hem at the front, but looks unworn,The silk blouse has a raw hem and some loose trim. Cutwork pigeon chest blouse is missing its collarThe black lace bodice/blouse has underarm tears.
Two late Edwardian lace lingerie dresses, an early Edwardian silk blouse with pigeon chest, a lace overskirt (4)First dress is generally strong, there are some tears to the lace that travels over the shoulder and meets at the back to fasten. There are some pulls and a few little breaks.The second dress has a tear in the modesty panel above the waist and a few scattered small breaks. It is generally strong. The skirt is in good condition, the silk ribbon drawstring at the waist has shred.The blouse has underarm staining, the lining is discoloured, there is a break in the lace around the wrist. there are a couple of small holes, but it presents well and is a beautiful antique piece.
A late 1930s wedding dress in ivory satin with lace inserts and a long train. The dress has long sleeves with puffed shoulders and ruching on the bust. (1)great, clean condition. both of the sleeves have a seam separation along the inner elbow, but the fabric is strong, its just loose stitching. there is a decent seam excess with pinked seams and no fray.
70s/80s vintage to include a vintage kimono in a magnolia rinzu silk with dip dye lining (for an older child, but works for adults too), a 1960s wedding dress, a 1980s cocktail style wedding dress in white lace with ruffles, a 1970s gown in white with spaghetti straps and silver lurex stripes. An off white cheesecloth evening kaftan with sequinned yoke. All in generally good condition. The boning has pierced its channels in the 70s gown and has some minor underarm discolouration and fray to the rouleau straps plus couple of tiny marks, the 60s wedding dress has a little loose trim (5)
1960s/ 1970s dresses to include a Mr Darren maxi dress with lace sleeves and yoke and huge collars, a floaty David Silverman sundress, a late 1960s maxi dress, a full length apron by Jebina Designs and a cotton prairie dress in Laura Ashley fabric. generally good condition, LA print has a couple of small fade patches, DS sundress has scattered small holes in the chiffon, tear to hem and damage to lining. These are in good condition, the Julian Rose has a couple of tiny holes on one shoulder(4)

Good condition other than damage to cord dress and some small holes in the sleeve of the drop waist dress (7)
1970s and 1980s dresses and jumper to include a 70s does 30s viscose dress by Wallis with deco buttons and belt buckle, an oatmeal coloured dress with lace knit sleeves, a floaty floral dress with empire bust and caped sleeves, a shirtdress and a knitted jumper. (5)The shirtdress has some small holes towards the bottom at the back, the knit sleeve dress has a small darn, the jumper has a small darn.
late 50s/ early 60s dresses to include a Frank Usher dress in the style of Cristobel Balenciaga C1957, a sack dress with elements of the slightly earlier bubble dress, and a Blanes dress in white with black polka dots. (2)The blanes dress is in great condition.The Usher dress has damaged to the voille, mostly around the bottom (possibly from being put in a washing machine by the look of it).
1980s fashions to include a Laura Ashley ballet length gown in jade green cotton, a diamante studded suede cocktail dress by Firenze of Santa Barbara, a Chinese jacker in navy blue with red frog fastenings, a fitted silk blouse by Anna Belinda and a black evening gown with off the shoulder puff sleeves and spaghetti straps in velvet and taffeta. 1970s and 80s clothing to include a two piece skirt and blouse set with geometric print by Strelitz, a dolman sleeved maxi dress with broderie anglaise bib by Kati, a crochet waistcoat, a monochrome dress by Lavinia, a full length gown in turquoise chiffon with sequins by Papillon (Very similar to a pink Zandra Rhodes dress that Princess Diana wore), and a medieval inspired dress in printed taffeta and velvet. (6)generally good vintage condition. black 'medieval' dress shows signs of age and wear. Two piece is missing one of the buttons at the skirt waist and there are a couple of small areas of colour run on the skirt.

A late 10s-20s muslin dress in an apricot shade with a meandering chainstitch design. The dress comes with a belt, and also a head piece that I would say has been made later using period millinery feather and a brooch. I cant see any obvious alterations to the dress, so we are not sure where the fabric to make the head band came from (2)
A pair of late 19th century kid leather shoes, a 1930s dress with beading and paste studs, a 1930s full length slip in claret. (3)ribbon straps have broken on slip and there are some pinholesshoes are very marked and a tiny sizedress is in generally good condition, hem undone around armholes, some whitish marks and general wear as would be expected.

A 1920/30's black lace dress with rising sun effect inserts to the skirt (poor condition) a late 1910s heavily beaded Magyer sleeved dress with tapered hem in the Poiret style, this has damage to the tulle outer and bead loss, but it is a really interesting piece. A crepe 1920s dress with applied detail in green and terracotta and bullion stitching, the green silk has shattered down the front of the dress and around the neck, but the embroidery and black fabric are strong, plus a 1920s blouse which is in generally good condition with minor pinholes and an open seam at the armhole that needs re-stitching for wear. (4)
